If you're the one holding everything together,
this place is for you.

Mindful Wellness Psychotherapy is a multi-therapist practice serving Burlington, Hamilton, Oakville, and clients across Ontario online. We exist for the people who hold it all together and need a place to finally put it down.

How we started

Our Story

Mindful Wellness was founded by Hayley Andrew — a registered psychotherapist with a background in physical health and education who came to understand early in her career that the mental and the physical are inseparable.

What started as a solo practice grew into something bigger: a team of therapists who each brought their own lived experience, career histories, and specialties. Not fresh graduates — people who had worked in other fields, navigated burnout, raised families, changed directions. Therapists who had been through it.

Today the practice serves private clients and individuals on disability leave, with a team that brings clinical depth, genuine warmth, and a refusal to be rattled by the hard stuff.

How we think about therapy

Our Approach

Therapy at Mindful Wellness isn't about fixing you — it's about helping you understand yourself better. We work from the inside out: looking at your patterns, your history, your values, and the gap between how you're living and how you want to live.

"Think of it like a personal trainer for your mind. You know you should go. Having a scheduled time, someone to show up for, and a commitment you've made — that's what makes it actually happen."

— Hayley Andrew, Founder

Our primary therapeutic framework is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — an evidence-based approach that helps clients make space for difficult emotions, identify what truly matters to them, and take meaningful action toward a life that feels more aligned. We also draw on CBT, DBT, EMDR, mindfulness, and somatic approaches depending on what fits each client best.

Collaborative

Therapy is something we do together — not something that's done to you. You set the direction, we help you navigate.

Values-led

Not about perfection or productivity — about helping you get clearer on what actually matters to you, and building a life that reflects it.

Practically grounded

Insight matters, but so does action. We help you build real tools and strategies you can use in your everyday life.
